BUYER’S
PREMIUM & SALES TAXES
A
15% Buyer’s Premium will be charged to all buyers on
every purchase. Lone Star Auctioneers, Inc. will not refund
or reimburse the buyer’s premium on any item based on
errors and/or omissions of the appraisal.
California
state sales tax will be collected from all buyers who do not
complete appropriate resale documentation upon registration
for the auction and prior to making purchases.
TERMS
OF PAYMENT
Payment
must be made in full immediately upon the completion of each
day of the auction by U.S. Funds in the form of cash, Cashier’s
Check or U.S. checks accompanied by a current Bank Letter
of Guarantee. The bank letter must be an ORIGINAL on bank
letterhead, and must read as follows:

unqualified payment to Lone Star Auctioneers,

A
2.5 % check guarantee fee will be applied to all purchases
with checks not accompanied by a valid Bank Letter of Guarantee.
Buyers who use the check guarantee service are advised that
all related purchases will be held for a period of approximately
two weeks following the auction. The costs for shipping, handling,
insurance, storage and security charges will be calculated
and paid at time of payout. There will be no exceptions to
these payment terms.
INSURANCE,
SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
There will be
a minimum $25.00 handling fee for purchases on EACH DAY of
auction. Buyers who purchase on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
auction days (or any combination of days) will be charged
shipping and handling for each day’s purchases on an
invoice generated at the end of each auction day. Insurance,
Shipping and Handling will be calculated according to the
shipping chart provided. Please estimate shipping according
to this chart.

ABSENTEE
BIDS
Absentee bids
will be accepted in writing from bidders who have inspected
the merchandise during provided preview periods. The written
instructions must provide the specific Lot numbers, the maximum
bid per lot, and authorization for Lone Star Auctioneers,
Inc. to bid on buyer’s behalf. Absentee bids must be
prepaid in full including sales tax and buyer’s premium
Cashier’s Checks or checks made payable to Lone Star
Auctioneers, Inc. and accompanied by a valid Bank Letter of
Guarantee. Deadline for receipt of Absentee Bids is 5 PM Wednesday,
May 25, 2005
Lone
Star Auctioneers will refund the full amount of unsuccessful
absentee bids and any balance in excess of actual selling
price (including tax, buyer premium, shipping, insurance,
etc.) for successful bids. The refunds will be in the same
form as initially submitted by bidder. In case of ties, live
bids take precedence over absentee bids. In the event identical
absentee bids are received, the earliest postmark received
will take precedence. Absentee bids shall be accepted in competition
with all other bids.
Successful
absentee bidders will be notified by phone and assume all
responsibilities, liabilities, insurance, and expenses for
shipping. Each unsuccessful absentee bidder will receive a
full refund in the same form as their original payment immediately
following the auction by regular mail unless otherwise requested.
Other means specified and paid for by the bidder will be used
as requested.
Lone
Star Auctioneers, Inc. assumes no responsibility for failure
to execute absentee bids. The final bid prices and reports
from the auction are provided to our client, the State of
California. |
